BaselWorld 2012: New Ceramic Watch Dior VIII Automatic
On the eve of one of the most important events of the watch world - International Exhibition BaselWorld 2012, the famous company Dior presents the continuing of the variability number of its ceramic watch collection, with a few mechanical changes.
The Dior VIII Automatic watch is a perfect harmony of inner and outer beauty, which the master of the company managed to reach. The new ceramic watch is equipped with an automatic mechanism of lacquered oscillating weight. Presented ceramic models perfectly complement the collection, at the same time, differing from the other watches of the main line.
Dior VIII Automatic watch is available in two items, with the cases of 33mm and 38 mm, inlaid with precious stones. The cases are encrusted with diamonds, for each model - up to 266 germs, total weight is approximately 1.22 carats.
Dior VIII Automatic (Ref: CD1235E5C001) watch is a white ceramic watche. Based on the statement of the legendary couturier Dior - "white is pure and simple and will match any image” the masters managed to translate his words in a tangible product. The white Dior VIII Automatic watch with 33-millimeter case is a sample of refined elegance and luxury, which emphasizes the generous inlaid diamonds on the bezel. The silver opaline dial is made with faceted applied indexes, made and installed manually. The watch case and strap are made of high-tech ceramics with pyramid-shaped links.
The black model is released in two versions: with a 33-millimeter case (Ref: CD1235E1C001) and 38-millimeter case (Ref: CD1245E2C001).
