The famous fashion house Dior has unveiled a new model of women's wrist watches Dior VIII Grand Bal Dentelle.
The luxury model with sensual lines of the case is a combination of stainless steel and high-tech ceramics. A sleek bezel is encrusted with diamonds, complemented by ceramic insert in black. Crown is set at the position of 3 hour. The front side of the case is equipped with an anti-reflective coating sapphire crystal, which also serves as the back cover. The case provides a 50-meter water resistance.
Black mother of pearl dial Dior VIII Grand Bal Dentelle is mesmerizing with the brilliance of 278 diamonds, forming a delicate pattern of ball gown. The rotor in white gold is open for the public inspection and, as if complements with its refined lines the festive attire. The total weight of diamonds is 1.05 carats. Time is indexed on the dial by the faceted hour and minute hands.
The novelty is designed on the base of the mechanical automatic caliber Dior Inverse. An exclusive mechanism has been created in close collaboration with the company Soprod and mechanism developer Frederic Jouvenot. Calibre has a 42-hour power reserve and the balance frequency of 28,800 vph.
A ceramic bracelet is made of black units in the form of pyramids. The novelty is released in a limited quantity of 88 copies and costs 30 000 Swiss francs.
