New Diverscope LPR Watch by JEANRICHARD at SIHH 2012
At the exhibition Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH-2,012) the watchmaker JEANRICHARD has introduced a new model called Diverscope LPR.
The first part of the name – Diverscope is justified by an impressive level of water resistance - 300 m. An important feature of diver watches is leak tightness. Moisture in the case can lead to corrosion of mechanism’s parts.
The watch is collected on the basis of the manufacturing mechanism JR1010 with automatic winding based on 26 jewels. Reliable and rugged caliber with a carrying frequency of 28 800 pc / h (4 Hz) has a 48-hour power reserve and equipped the capability to indicate hours, minutes, seconds, and date and power reserve. Time is pointed by the central arrow, date aperture is located at 3 o’clock position, and the linear power reserve indicator is built into the figure of 12. The level of the power reserve may be determined with the degree of numbers "12" filling in white. Note that on both sides of hour index are letters “ E”(empty), and “F “(full), which can determine the degree of power reserve.
The watch for diving in the depths of the sea is created with all the requirements for diving models - easy reading under all conditions, the presence of bi-directional rotating bezel, used to measure the time of immersion in water. Screwed crown to control the inner rotating diving bezel is located on the lateral surface of the case at the 9 o’clock position.
Partly polished and partly satin case with dimensions 43 x 43 mm is made of stainless steel. The both sides of the watch are protected by a strong sapphire glass. In deep water the time devices are subject to pressure, deforming the basic elements of the case (it concerns to solid metal case back). To avoid this, as the case back is used the sapphire glass, do not exposed strain.
The watch comes with two straps - rubber and Kevlar, both supplemented with folding clasp in satin stainless steel.
In the new diver’s model the sporty design is combined with high quality and original technique of performance.
