A New Red Label Calendomatic by Movado
The well-known watch company Movado has introduced a new model Red Label Calendomatic with the famous symbol of the sun in the position of hour marks 12. The first model with a sophisticated aperture on the automatic mechanism Calendomatic ® was released in 1946 and had a big success. The design of the new Red Label Calendomatic refers to the illustrious past of the famous namesake, with a convex sapphire crystal and a central circular aperture of date.
The round watch case, made of stainless steel with black PVD-coated, has a diameter of 42 mm. A sapphire glass is used as a transparent case back and secures it with the front side. The crown is set at the position of 5 o’clock. The case provides a water resistance to 30 meters.
Red Label Calendomatic is based on the Swiss mechanism ETA 2895-2 Automatic, paved with 27 jewels. The caliber provides a display function of time by the central hour and minute hands. The hands are made in the style of Dauphine. The small seconds hand indicator is put on the lateral dial between 6 and 8 hours. The rotor in the mechanism is decorated with red letter M, symbolizing a company logo.
The novelty is available on a black crocodile strap with a buckle made of stainless steel.
