Swiss watchmaker Auguste Reymond has presented an elegant, refined version of the model Cotton Club Worldtime.
The soft flowing shapes of the classic round case are highlighted by a shimmering gloss of the lacquered bright blue dial. The watch case in diameter of 38.5 mm is made of stainless steel. The crown is protected by a blue cabochon. The case on the top is equipped with an antiglare sapphire crystal, which serves also as a transparent case back. The case provides a 50-meter water resistance.
The Cotton Club Worldtime dial is made in several versions: black, chestnut-brown, black with silver trim. At the periphery the dial is marked by a circular 24-hour scale. On this scale makes the definition of day / night with a covering of the moon image from 7 pm to 5 am. Time is indexed on the dial by means of the central hour, minute and second hands. The date aperture is located at the position of 6 o’clock. The second time zone function is represented on the pointer of the 24-hour second time zone in the center of the dial.
Cotton Club Worldtime is designed on the basis of an automatic mechanism ETA 2893-2 at 21 jewels, sophisticated with GMT module. The caliber is perfectly trimmed and decorated with a Côtes de Genève pattern. Blued screws are set into the mechanism. The mechanism provides a 42-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of 28,800 vph.
The novelty is available on a blue alligator strap, fitted with a stainless steel buckle. 14.12.2011
