In September 12 the auction house Antiquorum in conjunction with the Consulate General of Monaco in New York organized a pre-release of watch patterns in New York, destined for the charity auction Only Watch, which will be held in September 23 in Monaco.
"We are grateful to the companies who so generously donated their unique watch models for a charity auction," – said the General Director of the auction house Antiquorum Julien Schaerer.
In its turn, the General Consul of Monaco in New York, Magee Macario said: "We are pleased to be part of the event, which should help people suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy."
At the charity auction the most famous watch companies will be presented: Audemars Piget, Bell & Ross, Blu, Berguet, Celsius, Chopard, Corum, De Bethune, DeWitt, Glasshütte Original, Hubolt, Ikepod, Patek Philippe, Piaget, Richard Mille, Romain Jerome, TAG Heuer , Ulysse Nardin, Zenith.
The profit from the charity auction is aimed on medical research of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This genetic disorder occurs only in boys. According to statistics, one child gets sick from 3.5 thousand children. Currently there are only 30 thousand of these patients only in Europe.
