BaselWorld 2014: Oeuvre d'Art Convertible from Epos
At the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2014, which will begin at the end of the next month of 2014 in Basel (Switzerland), the watch brand Epos will introduce a new limited watch Oeuvre d'Art Convertible. The model is a kind of transformer that allows transforming it from a pocket watch and vice versa.

The watch is available in a round case with a diameter of 44 mm stainless steel. Water-resistant - 30 meters. Placed at the 3 o`clock position, the crown is equipped with a ring on the top to attach the chain.
The milky white, gray or blue dial with radiant finish has applied Arabic numerals, hour markers, hour and minute hands with white luminescent substance. At the 8 o`clock position is set a circular aperture through which the components of the mechanism are reviewed. At the 6 o`clock position is set the window with a second`s hand. On the front side of the case and on the back cover is installed a sapphire crystal.

The new Oeuvre d'Art Convertible watch is driven by a Swiss hand-wound caliber ETA Unitas 6498, on the 17 jewels, with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, 50-hour power reserve, and functions of hours, minutes and seconds. The caliber is skeletonized and engraved by hand.
The model comes on an alligator strap with a stainless steel buckle. The watch is released in a limited edition of 222 items.
