Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral by Laurent Ferrier for Only Watch 2013

Swiss watch brand Laurent Ferrier has announced the release of the original watch Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral, which will be presented at a charity auction Only Watch 2013, in September.
The novelty is made in the style of understatement, which fully meets the high requirements of the watch classics. The peculiarity of the novelty is that one can only admire the tourbillon through the sapphire glass, mounted on the back cover of the case.

The three-component round stainless steel case is polished. Waterproof up to 30 meters, the case has a diameter of 41 mm and the thickness is 12.5 mm. At the 3 o'clock position, there is a fluted bulb-shaped crown. On the top, the case is equipped with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
The elegant dial with the image of a dove, covered with sand-colored Grand Feu enamel, is made of 18-carat gold. Hour indexes are located in positions of 3, 9 and 12 o’clock. The small second’s hand is put on the lateral dial at the 6 o'clock position, decorated with the image of the shield on the arms of the Principality of Monaco and the map. The central hour and minute hands, made of 18-karat white gold, carry out time indication.

Laurent Ferrier Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral watch

The new Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral watch operates on the base of the Swiss manufacturing automatic movement with manual winding Laurent Ferrier LF619.01, collected on 23 jewels. The unique mechanism has a balance frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour (3 Hz) and provides a 100-hour power reserve and a power reserve of 100 hours. The caliber is officially certified by COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) as a chronometer. The mechanism is equipped with two-inverted balance spring, contributing to improve the accuracy. The caliber is perfectly polished and decorated.
A light brown alligator strap with a stainless steel buckle equips the novelty. The kit also includes a gift box with a commemorative plaque, which lists the location of the Principality of Monaco on the world map.
