New Stop2Go Watch by Mondaine at BaselWorld 2013

The novelty Stop2Go by the watch brand Mondaine will officially be presented at the upcoming exhibition BaselWorld 2013.
The model is developed by a designer Martin Drechsel. New elements in the design of the model Stop2Go are two brackets, framing the case, which smoothly passing into the bow, and a new original form of the crown.
The round matte case of the model with a diameter of 41 mm is made of stainless steel. The watch water resistant - 30 meters. The milky-white dial features applied hour markers and black hands. The second’s hand with a circular indicator is made in red. On the top of the case is set an anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

Stop2Go watch by Mondaine

The Stop2Go watch is equipped by a Swiss quartz movement Mondaine 58-02, which was designed specifically for watches of the brand Mondaine. The caliber is equipped with two synchronized "engines", one of which provides a second’s hand movement, and the second - for the movement of minute and hour hands. The second’s hand performs a circular motion around the dial for 58 seconds, and then stops at the 12 o’clock position for exactly two seconds. At the same time, the minute hand performs a jump on one marker ahead. After this, the second’s hand continues to move.
The novelty comes on a leather strap in black with a stainless steel buckle.

P.S. On the Swiss railways during the last 70 years, there is a tradition - a two-second time fixing every minute, allowing easier and provide accurate departure of trains on schedule.
