Triumph of Audi Eberhard Team on the Austrian Melges 24 Cup

With the support of the watch company Eberhard & Co the Audi Italia crew took part in the Austrian Cup Melges 24 in order to test his ability to international competition. Under the leadership of their captain Riccardo Simoneschi the crew won 8 races of the championship, becoming the leader of the competition on Lake Attersee.
The organizer of the Austrian stage of European and international competition in the Melges 24 became the Kammersee Sailing Club.

In winning of the regatta on Lake Attersee the team Audi Eberhard their merit had steering Riccardo Simoneschi, tactician Gabriele Benussi, trimmer Vittorio Rosso, pitman Federico Buscaglia and a bowman sailor Lucia Giorgetti.
Without leaving the rivals no chance, Audi Italia Sailing Team has earned 7 points in the first eight races in the lead with an advantage of one minute.
The second place went to the German team of Markus Wieser at AEZ BMW, and the third one - the Czech crew of Martin Trcka.

After winning the Melges 24 Austria Cup the Audi Eberhard team actively continued to prepare for new competitions: from 16 to 24 June the sailors are waited the prestigious Kieler Woche, followed by - the long-awaited World Cup in Torbole on Lake Garda - from July 30 to August 4.
