The famous watchmaker Mido at the world exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has unveiled its model Multifort Chronograph. The collection Multifort was launched by founder of Mido Georges Schaeren in 1934.
A new model with its characteristics and design repeats the style of the watches from the collection Multifort.
44 mm chronograph case with a thickness of 14.50 mm is made of stainless steel 316L. The matte black dial new, equipped with white Arabic numerals, three hands and three counters, gives to the watch an elegant and at the same time, a daring look. At the 12 o’clock position there is a 30-minute counter, and at position 6 o’clock position - 12-hour counter. The small second’s hand is at the 9 o’clock position. The aperture of the date and day of the week has found its place at the 3 o’clock position. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. On the transparent case back, through which you can enjoy the work mechanism, is engraved a serial number.
The novelty is complemented with a bracelet in stainless steel 316L with a folding clasp. The bracelet makes the watch elegant, but at the same time sporty looks. There is also another version of the watch - with a silver dial and a black alligator strap with a folding clasp. The watch water-resistant is 100 meters.
The men's watch Multifort Chronograph is equipped by a mechanism of Mido 1320 with self-winding, which is compiled on the basis of the Swiss caliber Valjoux 7750. The mechanism is decorated with the “Côtes de Genève” pattern, collected on 25 jewels, equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, a 48-hour power reserve and functions of hours, minutes, seconds, date display, chronograph, and day of the week.
