Carbon Diver Drass Watch by Anonimo at BaselWorld 2012

The watch company Anonimo at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has unveiled a new diver's watch Carbon Diver Drass, designed for amateur and professional divers.
The novelty is made of an entirely new combination of materials: the bezel is made of carbon fiber, the case - stainless steel DRASS-coated (Double Refined Anonimo Steel Surface).
This year, the watchmaker Anonimo for improving the reliability of its time measuring devices used a combination of different materials - steel, marine bronze and in the watch Nautilo Steel Bronze, titanium and steel DRASS-plated - in the watch Professionale Crono Titanio and, finally, carbon and steel DRASS- coating – in the watch Carbon Diver Drass.

DRASS-covering is the 14-step process for blackening the surface of the case, consisting of "chemical bath", polishing, sandblasting. These processes are repeated several times in different order and with varying duration. As a result of DRASS-process the case takes a darker shade resembling the color of the titanium and scratch resistance. Possible scratches on the surface will not look like a scratch on the color of steel, because DRASS - is not a simple superficial appliqué. With color of the case perfectly blends with black bezel of carbon (CFRP). Easy and reliable material with a beautiful appearance is recently used in watchmaking. Carbon fiber is mainly used as a finishing material: the dial, as well as the bezel are decorated with carbon fiber coating, which in addition to strength has another weighty advantage - a heterogeneous surface in the form of patterns, woven of light and dark tones.
The Carbon Diver Drass watch is supplied on a black leather strap treated by the water-repellent Opera Kodiak, which imparts the skin resistance to salt water.
The new diver’s watch by Anonimo will be a good gift for lovers of prominent sports and will be their constant companion in underwater diving.
The watch is completed with an automatic mechanism Anonimo Firenze 01.0 (frequency of balance oscillation - 28.800 pc / h, power reserve - 40 hours, finishing is executed in style Colimaçon, tuning accuracy of the produced in the four positions). The caliber is based on mechanisms of SW200-1 (25 jewels) or ETA 2824-2 (26 jewels), equipped with a function display hours, minutes, seconds and date. The central hands indicate the time, date indicator located between the "3" and "4" clock.
The novelty is released in a limited edition of 300 items, the recommended retail price - € 2350.
