Heritage Watch Manufactory wins the GTE SuperWatch Award 2012
In January 17, 2012 the Swiss watchmaker Heritage Watch Manufactory and its watch Tensus wins the GTE SuperWatch Award 2012, which is held for the second time. The GTE SuperWatch Award 2012 - a prize for the watches of an independent brand that best embody the avant-garde design and technology.
The wristwatch Tensus, designed on the basis of the manufacturing caliber 800, was developed by Karsten Fraessdorf and Christian Gütermann. The mechanism is improved with the five standards of accuracy. Vivax balance depending on the amplitude changes automatically the moment of inertia, providing the precision. For fixing the outer end of the spiral it is used a new system that allows more precise control of the watch and multiple assembly-disassembly of the spiral without risk of deformation. The barrel is equipped with two oppositely wound springs, deprived of losses during friction and distortion. Caliber is equipped with a mechanism of constant force, a special descent, as well as a special control system of the anchor plugs constraints.
Christian Gütermann, a board member of the company, says: "Winning this award - a great honor for us. The award is the best evidence of the properly selected concept. We will always strive for absolute perfection. And we intend to follow this path."
