Swiss watch company Fortis has introduced a new limited edition model. The watch has a pretty impressive long name Flieger Limited Edition Chronograph Alarm GMT Chronometer COSC Dual Power Reserve (Ref. 703.20.92 LC05). The manufacturer claims the world's first mechanical wristwatch with separated power reserve indicators: for alarm and caliber. However, at the same time, the watch dial is literally packed with a lot of others functions.
The case of Ref. 703.20.92 LC05 is made of steel. Its diameter is 43 mm and water resistant up to 50 meters. Like a sea mine the case is decorated on the right with the crown and two chronograph buttons and two buttons on the left to install a second time zone (direction of "10 o’clock") and alarm (direction "8 o’clock"). The dial is covered by the sapphire crystal with double sided anti-reflective coating. Under it there are seen small pieces of silver opaline dial, almost entirely occupied by a variety of additional indicators. Of course, it contains blue applied Arabic numerals and hour indexes coated as the central hands by white phosphor composition.
Small lateral dial at the "9 o’clock" position shows seconds as the seconds hand belongs to the chronograph. In the aperture at "3 o'clock" is a date indicator and GMT time is displayed in the sector aperture at the "12 o'clock" position. At the "2 o’clock" is a pointer of AM / PM, but this long list of complications of Ref. 703.20.92 LC05 not ends.
The sector aperture at the "5 o’clock" position shows the power reserve, and at the "7 o’clock" is set the power reserve of the alarm. The alarm itself is set by the fourth central hand with a blue tip. Also in the aperture at "3 o'clock" is a blue pointer of the alarm.
In the "12 o'clock", under an indicator of GMT, is a 30-minute chronograph counter. The second - 12 hours - is at the mark of "6 o’clock."
Through the transparent case back is visible an automatic Swiss movement F2012, including more than 500 components on the 39 jewels. The carrying frequency is of 28 800 pc / hr. The mechanism is equipped with anti-shock system Incabloc. It is equipped with a pair of winding barrels, providing a 50 hours power reserve. The caliber is COSC certified as a chronograph.
The Flieger Limited Edition Chronograph Alarm GMT Chronometer COSC Dual Power Reserve (Ref. 703.20.92 LC05) watch is delivered on a blue crocodile leather strap with a clasp made of steel.
The watch is issued in a limited edition of only 100 numbered items.
It is available in $ 20 850.
