San Marco model from Anonimo

The model “San Marco” of Anonimo is named after the Italian Navy forces “Reggimento San Marco”. A winged lion, symbolizing the territory of Venice, is on the right part of dial, opposite to “3”; big crown opposite to “2” is used for setting the time and winding; small crown next to “4” – for rotation of internal ring. Button opposite to 9:30 allows regulation of the second time zone. Date opening is near “2”; power reserve indicator – between “5” and “6”. But the most interesting detail is undoubtedly the D-day count disk with diver's helmet picture. An improved model of men wrist watches “San Marco Anonimo” was produced with dial configuration changes. The previous model was complicated by the position of numbers. Although it was quite balanced with accurate design. The current version has an insctription “Anonimo. Hand-made by Firenze” on dial that makes it chaotic.
