Prestex Launches Verimatic 2.0 with Swiss Sellita Movement and Five Dials

Duckworth Prestex introduced the Verimatic 2.0 on 30 October 2026, revisiting its cushion-shaped automatic watch with a Swiss Sellita SW200 movement, revised case finishing and five dial designs. The British brand is taking orders at £895, with the first deliveries expected in late November. Production is planned as a numbered series of 1,200 watches.
Five dials within the same 39 mm design
The Verimatic's curved cushion shape is retained, but the new case incorporates satin-brushed, concave sides and polished details. It measures 39 mm across and is made from 316L stainless steel. A sapphire crystal sits flush with the top of the case, and a second sapphire window reveals the movement through the back. The prominent onion-shaped crown continues the watch's period-inspired exterior.
Five dial treatments give the new generation its range. Orange Fumé and Midnight Blue Fumé use graduated colour, while White Roman uses Roman numerals. The remaining versions, Yellow California and Light Blue California, combine Roman and Arabic markers in the mixed-numeral layout associated with California dials.
The Light Blue California, pictured here, uses blued hands and a pale blue dial inside the same polished-and-brushed steel case. The layout keeps the brand's wordmark above the hand stack rather than filling the dial with additional indications. All five versions show hours, minutes and central seconds.
Swiss Sellita SW200 movement
The principal mechanical revision is the move to the Swiss-made Sellita SW200 automatic calibre. Prestex identifies the movement explicitly in its launch specifications. The exhibition case back makes the change visible to the wearer, while the dial remains a three-hand display without a date window. The brand also specifies applied indices and updated hands across the new collection.
The case, sapphire crystals and movement are shared across the five new models.
Numbered series, price and delivery
The 1,200 watches will be individually numbered from 1/1200 to 1200/1200. For the initial launch allocation, Prestex has reserved 100 watches, divided equally into 20 examples of each dial. That opening allocation is part of the 1,200 total rather than a separate limited series.

Prestex traces the original family business to Frank Duckworth in the 1920s. The company is now led by his grandson Neil Duckworth, who has used earlier watch designs as a recurring point of reference in the modern collection. The Verimatic 2.0 continues that direction with a new movement while preserving the shaped case associated with the line.
