Christopher Ward C63 Sealander Yalos: Four Textured Dials and a 9.9 mm Case

Christopher Ward introduced the C63 Sealander Yalos on 29 October 2026, adding a 39 mm chronometer to its Sealander range. The release has four distinct stamped dial textures, each tied to one colour, and a 904L stainless steel case measuring just 9.9 mm thick. It uses the COSC-certified Sellita SW300-1 automatic movement, with a typical power reserve of 56 hours.
Four colours, four different dial patterns
The Yalos is offered in Ice Blue, Salt Pink, Sand White and Sea Green. The brand has not simply applied the same texture in different colours: each shade is paired with its own embossed pattern, inspired by surfaces, light and forms in nature. Custom stamping tools create the relief before colour and layers of translucent lacquer are applied.
A notable departure from standard sports-watch styling is the absence of a conventional bezel. The dial extends towards a raised box-shaped sapphire crystal, making the textured surface more prominent. Polished steel hour markers and hands are intentionally made without luminous material. They pick up ambient light, but do not glow independently in darkness.
The design also omits a date display. Hours, minutes and central seconds remain the indications, with the patterned dial given the visual emphasis. This changes the character of the Sealander from a purely instrumental watch towards a more understated, decorative automatic model.
A slim 904L steel case and chronometer movement
Christopher Ward specifies 39 mm for the case diameter, 9.9 mm for its thickness and 45.4 mm from lug to lug. The steel is grade 904L, while the front crystal is sapphire. A transparent sapphire caseback shows the Sellita SW300-1 automatic calibre, whose movement itself is only 3.6 mm thick.
The COSC-certified movement runs at 4 Hz. Christopher Ward describes a minimum power reserve of 50 hours and a typical reserve of 56 hours. Water resistance is 100 metres, despite the relatively slim case and emphasis on polished surfaces.

Suede straps and a revised Consort bracelet
Buyers can select Vesuvio suede straps or a redesigned five-link Consort bracelet, also made from 904L steel. The bracelet tapers from 20 mm to 16 mm, features tool-free iLink adjustment and has a butterfly clasp with 3 mm of micro-adjustment.
The two configurations change both the appearance and price of the C63 Sealander Yalos. The example reference above identifies the Ice Blue dial with its matching strap; separate references apply to the other dial and bracelet combinations. The new Yalos adds a distinctive set of textured dials to an established Sealander case format without introducing a new movement complication.
