Orient Kamasu GMT: the Popular Diver Gets a Second Time Zone

Orient has introduced the Kamasu GMT, a version of its popular Kamasu dive watch with a second time zone. Presented in October 2026, it comes in five dial colours – black, green, orange, blue and a limited dark-blue sunray edition (Ref. RA-BC0005L30B, $675) – and is available from Orient Watch USA at a suggested retail price of $625; at launch it was offered for $495.
A larger case and 200 m water resistance
The stainless steel case grows to 42.8 mm, compared with 41.8 mm for the regular Kamasu. It is 13.4 mm thick and 49.5 mm from lug to lug, has a sapphire crystal and keeps the model's 200 m water resistance. Instead of a diving bezel, the GMT has a rotating 24-hour bezel, which can be used to read the second time zone or, by turning it, a third one. The steel bracelet has hollow end links, Oyster-style links and a folding clasp with a safety catch.
Calibre F6P22
The watch runs on Orient's automatic calibre F6P22. Its GMT hand is set independently from the hour hand – a so-called caller GMT, practical for following the time in another city. The movement can also be wound by hand, has a hacking seconds hand and, according to Orient, a power reserve of approximately 40 hours. The GMT hand is red on three models, blue on the blue limited edition and gold on the orange dial.
The Kamasu GMT enters a busy segment of affordable mechanical GMT watches, where it competes directly with the Seiko 5 Sports GMT. Compared with the Seiko, it offers twice the water resistance: 200 m instead of 100 m.
