Certina DS Action Diver 38 mm Black: a 300 m Diver with Orange or Teal Accents
Certina has added two black versions to its DS Action Diver 38 mm collection. The steel case and bracelet are coated black, and each model has one colour accent: orange (Ref. C048.807.33.051.02) or teal (Ref. C048.807.33.051.01). Both cost CHF 865, EUR 975 or USD 1,000.
A compact diver
With a diameter of 38 mm and a thickness of 13.2 mm, the DS Action Diver 38 is a smaller alternative to most professional diving watches. It is water resistant to 300 m and, according to Certina's specifications, meets the ISO 6425 standard for diver's watches. The unidirectional bezel has a matte ceramic insert, and the crown and case back are screwed down. Like other models in the DS line, it uses Certina's "Double Security" construction to protect the movement against shocks.
Black with a touch of colour
The dial is black, with the minute track on an orange or teal lacquered flange. The applied hour markers and the hands carry Super-LumiNova; the seconds hand has a luminous dot, and the date is at 3 o'clock. The colour also appears on the bezel graduations.
