Phillips Geneva Watch Auction XXIV: A 1945 Patek Philippe Ref. 1436 Leads More Than 220 Watches

Phillips, in association with Bacs & Russo, has announced the highlights of The Geneva Watch Auction: XXIV. The sale will take place on 7 and 8 November 2026 at the Hotel President in Geneva and will offer no fewer than 220 watches. Phillips' spring 2026 sales in Geneva, Hong Kong and New York totalled more than US$235 million, with three watches selling for over US$10 million each.
The top lot: a steel Patek Philippe from 1945
The most valuable piece in the catalogue is a Patek Philippe Ref. 1436 split-seconds chronograph in stainless steel, made in 1945 (lot 95). Steel examples of this reference are rare, which is why this one is expected to be the most expensive watch of the sale. The estimate is CHF 2,000,000–4,000,000.
