Skylab by Romain Jerome
The watchmaker Romain Jerome announces a new skeletonized novelty Skylab. The model gets its name in honor of the first space station NASA. This is a National Aeronautics and Space Administration, owned by the U.S. federal government and reporting directly to the Vice President of the USA.
The model, which resembles a space station, has a 44 mm case. The skeletonized dial is equipped with skeletonized hour and minute hands. The lugs of the case have cavity to lighten the weight, as well as create a unique mounting system with fewer visible screws, as in other watches. According to the masters, the bezel of an each instance contains material from the Apollo 11 space. Through the sapphire glass, mounted on the front side of the case and on the back cover, is visible the single barrel at 12 o`clock position, and the balance wheel at the 6 o`clock position and the RJ-Romain Jerome monogram at the 3 o`clock position.
The new Skylab watch is available in a round rose gold 5N or steel with anthracite or PVD coating.
