The novelty, called Balanciers, differs from previous models with its mechanism. The originality is this: instead of a tourbillion, the caliber comprises two separate triggers, each of which has its own second dial. The mechanism has been developed in the department of Experimental Watch Technology (EWT) of the company Greubel Forsey.

Two triggers of the mechanism, working together, provide an indication of time with the same accuracy as the tourbillon. It should be noted that on the dial there is a third second’s dial, showing the average time of the indicators of the other two dials.
On the dial there is an inscription “Experimental Watch Technology 1/6”. However, the number "6", which is present in it, does not say anything about the number of items of the unique novelties. The model Balanciers is released in a single copy, and the other 5 – they are calibers without cases.
The novelty is presented in white gold. As noted by the company's founders, they are not going to release this model in the case of another metal and dimensions.
