A new sporty watch Newport Yacht Club Chrono Automatic, presented in the current 2012 year by the watch Michel Herbelin, presents a landmark model of the brand. In the design of the novelty are used soft shades of black and gray, striped in red.
Round case of the novelty in diameter of 43.5 mm is made of stainless steel 316 L. Waterproof to 100 meters, the case is equipped with a bezel, marked by a tachometer scale. On the top an anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the case; on the reverse side there is a screwed steel cover. The crown at 3 o’clock position is surrounded on both sides with the buttons of the chronograph function.
Applied hour markers grade the dial, and on its periphery, a minute scale is posted. Time is indexed on the dial by means of the central hour and minute hands with red tips. Time indexes and hands are coated with white fluorescent substance. Small second’s hand is put in to the lateral dial at the 9 o'clock position. The chronological functions are displayed on a 30-minute indicator at 12 o'clock position, 12-hour indicator at 6 o'clock position, and through the central second’s hand, painted in red. Date is built into a large square aperture at 3 o'clock position.

The model Newport Yacht Club Chrono Automatic Swiss operates on an automatic mechanism ETA Valjoux 7750, assembled by 25 stones. The caliber has a 38-hour power reserve and the carrying frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The rotor is decorated with Côtes de Genève pattern.
