Chronofighter 1695 Watch by Graham at the BaselWorld 2012
London-based legendary watchmaker Graham, founded by a talented inventor George Graham, at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2012 has introduced a new men's watch Chronofighter 1695 (Ref. 2CXAP.SO3A).
As it is known, the master’s name is associated with the invention of the first chronograph; moreover, it is named after 18th-century cylindrical descent. The created chronographs are significantly different from the models of other brands to its design performance. The masters of Graham, created the magnificent Chronofighter 1695 watch, paid tribute to the legendary George Graham, who for years was a watchmaker in one of the most important and oldest British institutions - the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. The building of the observatory is engraved on the back side of the model Chronofighter 1695. Only a small hole on the case back allows you to observe the work of the manufacturing movement.
The chronograph is presented in 42 mm round case, made of 18 carat pink gold. The silver-white dial features gold Arabic numerals and three hands. A 30 - minute counter is located at the 6 o’clock position, and a small date aperture – at the 3 o’clock position. The brand’s logo adorns the dial at the 12 o’clock position. The dial is protected by a double-sided anti-glare convex sapphire crystal.
In this design the men's watches in the 30's were made. A characteristic feature of the Graham watches was an original lever-shaped crown. The crown of the new model is performed in such design; it is made of 18 carat pink gold and occupied its place on the left side of the case. Next to the crown at the 10 o’clock position there is a chronograph button.
The watch is delivered on a brown alligator strap with a buckle in 18 carat pink gold. The novelty is collected on the basis of an automatic mechanism G1745 on 25 jewels, with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of 48 hours. The caliber is equipped with features of hours, minutes, seconds, date display and chronograph.
