The famous Swiss watch manufacturing company with Italian roots Officine Panerai opened the brand's boutique in the capital of Bavaria, Munich, on November, 4th 2011. This is the company's first boutique in Germany, that's why the brand dedicated 2 limited edition models, available only at its shop at Maximilianstrasse, to this special event. One of them is the Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT (Ref. PAM00435) men's wrist watch. The case backs of both models have the engraving of the symbol of Munich, Frauenkirche cathedral.
The first limited edition model, dedicated to Munich, is the Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT (Ref. PAM00435) wrist watch, produced in the quantity of only 20 pieces in 44-mm diameter round cases, made of polished 316L stainless steel. The lever, protecting the crown, is executed of brushed stainless steel and the bezel is made of polished stainless steel. All elements of the black sandwich dial are treated with luminescent Super-LumiNova coating: the Arabic numerals, the linear 10-days power reserve indicator, the small seconds subdial, combined with the 24-hour AM/PM indicator, the calendar and the “Luminor Panerai GMT” inscription. The model's hour and minute hands, as well as the arrow, pointing at the second time zone hour, are also covered with luminescent coating. The dial is protected with a sapphire crystal, made of corundum with antireflective coating and the width of 2 mm. The men's wrist watch is water resistant up to 100 metres deep (10 ATM).
The men's Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT (Ref. PAM00435) wrist watch is equipped with the automatic mechanical P.2003 caliber, created entirely at the Officine Panerai manufacture in Neuchatel. The movement is assembled on 25 jewels and supplied with the “Glucydur' balance and the “KIF Parechoc” shock resistance system. The P.2003 caliber's operational frequency is 28800 half-oscillations per hour. The 10-days power reserve is provided by 3 barrels and indicated on the watch's dial at the “6” position.
The Swiss Panerai Luminor 1950 10 Days GMT (Ref. PAM00435) wrist watch has the engraving of the Munich Frauenkirche cathedral on its screwed down steel case back. The watch is placed on a personalized Panerai natural leather strap with a large-sized brushed stainless steel buckle. This model is also supplied with an extra interchangeable strap, the tool for its replacement and a steel screwdriver. |
