| Adherence to historical roots, combined with elegance and sophistication these are the main characteristics of the new men's wrist watch from the Swiss Officine Panerai watch company with Italian roots. The model is called Radiomir 8 Days GMT Oro Rosso. The classic aesthetics of the Radiomir line, enclosed in a round case with the diameter of 45 mm, made of red gold, is combined with the original sophisticated version of the mechanical P.2002 caliber with skillfully skeletonized bridges and barrels, you can watch their operation through the case back, made of sapphire crystal.
The skeletonizing work opens the work of the movement and the gearing wheels, executed in the same colour, as the red gold case, and the plate of the movement with a grained structure. It also enables you to watch the spiral unwind while the watch operates and wind when the watch is wound up. The unbelievable level of attention to detail and the high finishing standards are shown by the hand-beveled bridges, the movement's gold engraving and the relief inscriptions application instead of the standard engraving of the brand's name and the model's technical specifications on its back bezel. The strap is attached to the cushion-shaped case with the classic signature wire strap lugs, aslo made of red gold and screwed down to the case with 4 small screws (the patented Officine Panerai technology), enabling you to change the strap rather simply.
The Swiss Officine Panerai company fro this model's production uses 5NPt red gold, a special fusion with extra-high copper percentage (24,1%), which gives the unusual colour depth, and this fusion also contains a small quantity of platinum (0,4%), helping to avoid metal oxidization.
This limited edition model's dial is executed in brown colour and supplied with luminescent Arabic 6, 9 and 12 numeric indexes and glowing hour markers. There's a date aperture at the 3 position, the small seconds sub-dial, combined with the 24-hour indicator, is placed at the 9 o'clock position and the linear power reserve indicator is situated at the 6 position. The dial's protective crystal is made of 1,2-mm-thick corundum with antireflective coating. The men's wrist watch's transparent case back is made of sapphire crystal. The model is water resistant up to 50 metres (5 ATM).
