| In 2012 specifically to SIHH 2012 (Salon Internationale de Haute Horlogerie) exhibition the famous Swiss watch company with Italian roots Officine Panerai prepared 12 new models. Among those was the Panerai Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days (Ref. PAM 449) wrist watch, executed in the same style, as the first Panerai Radiomir models, produced in 1936. Those men's wrist watches were dedicated to the soldiers of the Italian Royal Navy and the new models contain the typical features of the collection: the signature cushion-shaped cases with the diameter of 47 mm, the wire loop strap attachments, the conic screw-down winding crown personalized OP, the blue central hour and minute hands and the dial in minimalistic style, designed to provide best readability under extreme circumstances. The model's dial is protected with a 2,8-mm-thick plexiglass crystal with antireflective coating instead of the classic sapphire crystal, which is another tribute to the 1930-ies' model. The case of the Panerai Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days (Ref. PAM 449) men's wrist watch with the diameter of 47 mm is made of polished stainless steel. Inside it there's a manually wound caliber P.3000, operating on 2 barrels, manufactured fully at Panerai workshop. The movement P.3000 is assembled on 21 jewel and equipped with a “Glucydur” balance and an “Incabloc” shock resistance system. The working frequency of the caliber is 21600 half-oscillations per hour, its power reserve is 72 hours. The manually rewound caliber's functions include hours and minutes. The Swiss Panerai Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days wrist watch (Ref. PAM 449) is supplied with a personalized Panerai brown natural leather strap with a large polished stainless steel buckle. The Men's Panerai Radiomir S.L.C. 3 Days wrist watch (Ref. PAM 449) is water resistant up to 100 metres deep (10 ATM). You can watch the movement's operation through the transparent case back, made of sapphire crystal. |
