| New model of wristwatch released in special limited edition by Zenith watch company. The model is called Zenith El Primero Striking 10th. It was firstly presented in 2010 at Basel World Horology Exhibition. Looking at this watch it is difficult to decide what element is better. Everything is perfectly combined. Case diameter is 42mm and it is made of stainless steel. It hides movement which contain 326 elements and 31gems. The movement is made on the base of caliber El Primero 4052 B, which is considered to be unique and it afford to fix periods of time up to 1/10th second.
Dial of Zenith El Primero Striking 10th is made of silver which is processed in special way by quartz dusting, which add special texture and a look that the dial has its depth. At the main dial there are three small counters: gray – at the position of “9 o'clock”, black – a bit higher than aperture of date and blue – at the position of “3 o'clock”. Aperture of date is at the position of “6 o'clock”.
Everything is perfectly suit bright-red hand of seconds and two silver hands (minute and hour one). All the ensemble (case, crystal, hands and counters) make a look of a polar star, shining in the sky. Dial Zenith El Primero Striking 10th is protected by sapphire crystal. Word «foudroyante» is used in the name of the watch in order to denote a function of a jumping second. Watches of this kind have a big hand of seconds which makes a full turn around the dial for 10 seconds instead of 60 seconds as usual hands of seconds do. The second numeration in the dial of Zenith El Primero Striking 10th is also 10 second instead of 60 second.
Watch model is supplied with black alligator genuine leather strap The inside of the strap is made of real rubber. The strap is also supplied with three-times-folding clasp made of stainless steel. |
