| La Symbolique des Laques ( Ref. 33222/000R-9546). Masters of oldest Japanese varnishing company Zohiko, which exsists since 1661 and Vacheron Constantin which is one of the oldest watch houses, made a deal, which helped to create collection La Symbolique des Laques. In 1906 watch company Vacheron Constantin opened first shop in Geneva. Soon the shop had constant and experienced clients from Japanese. Since 1917 production of Vacheron Constantin was presented in Japanese cities: Tokyo, Yokohama and Cobe. Soon in Japanese sent marine chronographs. It appeared that Japanese clients had special tastes, and special for them was developed the whole series of wristwatches which called “Japanese style”. Thus, began co-operation of one of the famous watch houses Vacheron Constantin and Japanese varnishing companies Zohiko. During three years this collection presents in form of set from three models. Series of these unique watches is limited and produces in 20 pieces. Every production has the sense, inspired by Japanese traditions and art culture. Collections have birds, animals, trees, and also minerals, which symbolize believes and legends of Far East, which has one of the richest cultures in the world. In watch production they use varnishing called “maki-e”, which translates as “poured picture”. Technique of this varnishing is the most complicated. On not dried varnish, usually of black color, lays silver or gold dust. Technique “maki-e” is one of the most unique and complicated like technique and art. Proving that watches La Symbolique des Laques are really perfect and elegant masterpiece, watch house Vacheron Constantin made case of chronograph from ultra-thin caliber 1003, which is absolutely skeletonized. Sapphire crystal are situated on the both sides of case, through which the owner can watch on perfect pictures on the dial. Movement is made from 18-karat white gold. On watches from first collection , which is called “The Three Friends of Winter”, painted the nightingale and the plum tree (ume to uguisu-Jap.). The plum tree is famous with its white-rose flowers, which bloom in the middle of winter. Soft smell fulls the air of January and gives the first hope on soon coming spring. As a pair to the plum tree situated on the dial the nightingale, which is also symbolizes the coming of spring. In Japanese legends nightingale and plum tree are paintrd on winter background. Men wristwatch La Symbolique des Laques has power reserve – 31 hours. Diameter – 40 mm, thickness – 7,5 mm. Water resistance is up to 30 meters. Strap of black color is made from crocodile leather with insertion from white gold 18 karat.
