Romain Gauthier Presents New Version of Logical One Timepiece

Romain Gauthier, born in 1975 in the Vallée de Joux, began his career by studying the secrets of precision mechanics, received a diploma of precision devices designer. At 22, he joined the company specialized in the production of watch components. Here he learned all the secrets of making components for mechanical watches. Romain Gauthier worked for two years over the first watch, after which they presented at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2007. This time watchmaker pleased its fans a new version of the Logical One timepiece with a round case in dimensions of 43 mm x 15, 9 mm, made of red gold.

The mechanism of the novelty "reveals its secrets" only after clicking on the appropriate button. The case cover is decorated with 181 baguette cut diamonds with a total of weight 7 carats. There is also another version of the novelty, the case cover of which is decorated with rubies. Under additional case cover "are hidden" the parts of the manual winding caliber with a diameter of 35.5 mm and 10.5 mm thickness. The mechanism consists of 333 parts, equipped with a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, 60 - hour power reserve. The caliber is assembled on the 30 jewels, another 34 jewels the master used in fuse - chain transmission connected to the barrels, which provides a constant force at all times during operation. The fuses allow compensating for torque reduction due to a decrease in energy clockwork spring. Plane winding drum made of sapphire, which reduces the effect of friction within the winding spring drum itself.

Jeweled cover leaves open only two additional dials with Arabic numerals, the top of which is provided to indicate the hours and minutes, and the bottom - for seconds. The watch comes on a leather strap with a buckle in 18 - carat red gold.
