Three Novelties from Mayu Collection by H. Moser & Cie at BaselWorld 2013
The Swiss watch brand H. Moser & Cie in 2013 has expanded the Mayu collection with 3 novelties. These models are presented at the annual exhibition BaselWorld 2013.
The collection is named after the first wife of company founder Henry Moser. The watch is made of 18-carat rose gold with a golden dial, 18-carat pink gold with a light brown dial and 18-carat white gold with a silver dial.
The novelties have round three component cases in diameter of 38.8 mm and a thickness of 9.3 mm. On the dials are marked applied gold hour-markers, hands to indicate hours and minutes. At the 6 o’clock position is an additional aperture with a second’s hand. An anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal protects the dial.

On the back covers is also installed a sapphire glass, through which it is possible to observe the work of the manufacturing movement H. Moser & Cie HMC 321 in diameter of 32 mm and a thickness of 4.8 mm. The caliber, compiled on 27 jewels, is equipped with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, 72-hour power reserve, Original Straumann Hairspring ®, engraved rotor in 18-carat gold, and display functions of hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve. The power reserve indicator is located on the backside of the case and can be seen through the sapphire crystal on the back cover.
Models are available on alligator straps with buckles in 18-carat pink or 18-carat white gold.

H. Moser & Cie – Where does this name originate in? This story is known to very few people. Heinrich Moser was born in 1805 in Schaffhausen, he belonged to a dynasty of watchmakers and he made up his mind to be a watchmaker too. At the age of 22 he moved to Russia, where he successfully founded a watch empire known as H. Moser & Cie.
The watch production was launched in Swiss town of Le Locle, some watch details were purchased from Urban Jurgensen and Jaeger-LeCoultre companies. Producing about 70 calibers, H. Moser & Cie really had a crack, the company supplied Russian emperors with its watches...
