Unicum Timepiece by U-Boat - a unique personalized novelty

The creative genius of the Italian watch company U-Boat, Italo Fontana has introduced a new mechanical masterpiece U-42 Unicum, which embodies the concept of personalization and individuality. The novelty reflects a new vision of time meters from the company U-Boat, celebrated its purist, recognizable at first sight design.

The U-42 Unicum watch - the first attempt to create a model of the historic design with a unique decoration and detail, consistent with the future owner.
To create a vintage effect, the double convex dial, painted in bronze and black, a titanium case and a bezel are artistically etched with acid. The central hands by means of which is carried out the indication of hours, minutes and seconds, are hand painted, then subjected to discolored and old.
The novelty comes in complete with leather straps, woven by the tanners of Tuscany. At customer’s desire, straps may also be old and whitewashed with acids.
The new U-42 Unicum watch operates on the base of a modified manufacturing automatic movement, which provides 28,800 vibrations per hour and 40-hour power reserve. The caliber, assembled by 25 jewels, has a height of 4.60 mm. Functions: hours, minutes, and seconds.

Waterproof to 300 meters, the case is made of titanium with black IP-coating. The case diameter is 53 mm. The back cover, which is engraved with serial numbers, is fixed with six hex screws. A lever on the right side on the case blocks the bidirectional rotating bezel from ceramic. Ball indicator on the bezel at 12 o'clock position is also made of ceramic. On the top, the case is equipped with a sapphire crystal.
