Environmental Watch by Gucci and actress Li BingBing

Italian fashion house Gucci for many years engaged in the sponsorship of charitable organizations and campaigns for the arts. Now the company Gucci is working with famous Chinese actress, the face of the watches and jewelry Li Bingbing. The brand has recently announced the release of a new model from the Bamboo collection - a special environmentally safe issue of the women’s watch and a bracelet named Li Bingbing Bamboo.

The watch and bracelet are made from environmentally renewable materials. The case, 35 mm in diameter, is equipped with a bezel made of lightweight bamboo. On the back of the model is engraved “Gucci and Li Bingbing for Responsible Life”. The inscription was made in honor of partnership with the famous actress. The inseparable part of the collection is a bracelet designed as a complement to the watch. The bracelet, too, is made of bamboo and white beads of ivory palm nuts. Note that the nut, which is known as "vegetable ivory", is an environmentally friendly material that is used as a substitute for ivory. This helps to avoid the application of the ivory tusks of animals.
In honor of the official start of partnership in January 17, 2013, the brand Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry will host a special reception in the Chinese city of Lijiang (Lijiang).
