Ingersoll IN7904WHG Skeleton – Mechanical “Lace”

Today beautiful watches-skeletons are settled in the watchmaking world and have adopted rather a high position. There are a lot of fans of such watches. Skeletons are the masterpieces of Horology, which are developed by the most skilful craftsmen, engravers and jewelers. The watchmakers shouldn’t make mistakes, as such models open their “souls”, that's why every error or defect is clearly seen at the first sight. As a rule, skeletonized watches are rather expensive, because it takes masters much time, efforts and money to create them.
Well, fans of the mechanical “lace” may rejoice! I'd like to present you a new skeleton-watch of a high quality at rather an affordable price! This is new Ingersoll IN7904WHG Skeleton watch! You'd better specify the exact price of the model at the producer, but you may be sure, that the price will satisfy you!
Speaking about any watch, I should tell some words about its producer. In this case it is Ingersoll watch company, founded in the USA, in New-York, in 1892. Ingersoll watch company has become famous all over the world, as a producer of dirt cheap watches for a wide spectrum of customers. For example, in 1896, the manufacture churned out a huge number of cheap watches and sold them out at one dollar for each piece. Much water has flowed under the bridges since then, Ingersoll went bankrupt, after that it was run by several owners and then it started from point zero.
It was a long time ago, when Ingersoll company was known as a producer of “dollar watch”. Today its products are considered to be high quality watches among other non-Swiss timepieces.

Well, let's observe the skeletonized newcomer. The watch, that can be referred to the unisex category, is constantly working thanks to the hand wound movement caliber 417 with 17 jewels. The movement is finished perfectly, one can see it through the skeletonized white dial, protected by a mineral crystal. The round case has a diameter of 46 mm and it's produced from stainless steel. There are graceful Roman numerals and two black central hands, indicating hours and minutes, on the dial, or to be more exact on that piece, left after the skeletonization. There is also a subdial with a small second hand at “9 o'clock” position. One can observe the mechanical “lace”, which was a movement before the watchmakers started to skeletonize it, through the transparent case back. The water resistance of Ingersoll IN7904WHG Skeleton watch is rather modest, that is typical of skeletons, - to 30 meters. The owners of the watch will be able to wear this timepiece on wrists with the help of brown leather strap.
Ingersoll IN7904WHG Skeleton wrist watch is likely to be a classical skeleton: Roman numerals, an onion-shaped crown, a ribbed bezel. Actually, I think this model is worth your attention!

Brothers Charles and Robert Ingersoll have founded the American “Ingersoll” brand and in 1880 “Robert H. Ingersoll & Brother” company was set up in New York. The brothers' main aim was making an optimal quality and price correlation. Thanks to Henry Ford, who invested in automated wrist watch production, this task execution became possible. This is how the “one-dollar watches” appeared with conventional details, fixed on a brass plate. They were precise and cost 1 dollar. Thanks to this, Ingersoll became a popular brand in USA and the folk watches were called “Yankee”, as Connecticut and N...
