Classic Wristwatch Seashore by Atlantic at BaselWorld 2012

This year at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012, the company Atlantic has introduced several new models, the design of which is well within the traditions of Swiss manufacture.
More than a century Atlantic successfully appeals to the classical models, representing to the judgment of watchmaking art lovers new, modern interpretations of traditional patterns, reflecting the company's philosophy.
A new model of the line Seashore is performed in an unobtrusive combination of classic and sporty-elegant styles. The design of the novelty is quite attractive, but still something is missing.
In my opinion, there is not enough contrast. Because of monochrome the model turned dull and inexpressive.

In remarkable 1888 Eduard Kummer, a Swiss man with a visionary conception, founded in Bettlach a manufactory of parts for pocket watches. The “EKB” (Eduard Kummer Bettlach) manufactory became the forunner of ATLANTIC WATCH PRODUCTION. In 30s EKB issued watches for different brands, including popular in that time Opus and Ariston.
