New DB27 Titan Hawk by De Bethune at BaselWorld 2012

The Swiss company De Bethune has announced the release of a new wristwatch DB27 Titan Hawk, the world premiere of which will be held at the international exhibition BaselWorld 2012. The release of the novelty is devoted to the 10th anniversary of the company’s creation. The DB27 Titan Hawk watch is the first model of DB27 new line. The modern design of the new watch, combining the elements of futurism and modernity, points to the company’s designer David Zanetti constant searches for aesthetic that has created the DB27 Titan Hawk watch. As he notes, "the new watch is beautiful, offering perfect readability and functionality."
The case of the novelty is made of titanium Grade 5, polished to a mirror surface. Case diameter is 43 mm and the thickness is 12 mm. At 12 o'clock position is set screwed-down crown. The rotating system of the handles allows the watch perfect fitting to the wrist. The front side of the case is equipped with a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. On the case back of the model is also set the sapphire crystal.
Silver dial is guilloched with concentric circles in the center, and graduated at the periphery by the minute scale with black Arabic numerals. The central hour scale is marked by Roman numerals in black and the inner circular date scale. The blued central hand is skeletonized.
The model is based on an automatic mechanism S233, assembled by 34 jewels. The reliable caliber provides a 6-day power reserve and the balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. To reduce friction and effective transfer of energy, the self-regulating mechanism is modified by two winding barrels. The balance wheel is made of white gold and silicon. The components of the caliber from the steel and main plate are beautifully polished and beveled.
The novelty comes on an elegant black alligator strap.
