New Quantieme Perpetuel Au Grand Balancier Collection by Antonie Martin at BaselWorld 2012
The watch company Antonie Martin will present at the upcoming watch exhibition BaselWorld 2012 a new watch line Quantieme Perpetuel Au Grand Balancier, based on the new caliber AM39.001, which thickness is 17.5 mm, and the balance wheel is the largest.
After several years of hard work the brand has introduced its first modified manufacturing mechanism AM39.001 with manual winding, complicated by a wide display date, perpetual calendar function and six-day power reserve. Specific features of the caliber are the new system of the escapement mechanism - High Performance Escapement (HPE) and the regulator of balance wheel amplitude - Aerodynamic Amplitude Stabilization (ADAS).
In order to demonstrate the perfect combination of polished and matte surfaces, a case of models is equipped with removable lugs. Groove on the case are polished to a mirror shine, and the upper part remains matte. The crown resembles a classic Bauhaus design. The elegant case consists of 85 components.
The modern interpretation of classic guilloche, decorating center, and applied numerals, executed in a completely new style, combine to create a gorgeous face with a vertically arranged date display, perpetual calendar, month and leap year at 12 o’clock position.
Cases of new products are released in several versions: of 18K pink gold, white gold with steel case back in DLC-coating. The front side of the case is equipped with a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
New items are available on a strap of brown Louisiana crocodile leather or a black rubber strap with steel buckle in DLC-coating.
"In the future we will have no limits in creating new products - summarizes the company's CEO Bruno Jufer. - The most demanding customers are encouraged to buy a watch by company in which they will discover the wonderful world of high-tech movement that surely meet their expectations, and will present a lot of wonderful surprises".
