Novelties of U-Boat at Baselworld 2012

Italian watch company U-Boat has announced the release of two new watch models U-42 GMT and "B and B", the world premiere of which will be held at the upcoming watch exhibition Baselworld 2012. The watch brand for the seventh time is taking part in this prestigious event for the watch industry.
For creating the design of both models the master are inspired from the watch U-42, specifically released in 1942 for the Italian Navy. The round case of the model with a massive 53 mm diameter, the caseback and bezel are made of titanium. The black dial and watch hands are made of brass. The front side of the case is equipped with a sapphire crystal. The case provides a 300-meter water resistance.
Inside the watch case U-42 GMT is built an automatic modified and personalized specifically for U-Boat mechanism with date display and crown at 9 o'clock position. The power reserve of the caliber is 48 hours. The U-42 GMT watch is an excellent sample of timing with the functions of indicating hours, minutes and seconds by means of the central hands, 3 time zones and dates. The watch comes on a brown leather strap with a titanium buckle. Release of the novelty is limited - only 300 items.
The second brand’s novelty "B and B" is the owner of a large titanium case with IP-coated in black and a diameter of 53 mm. Bi-color dial of the model is made of brass, bronze and black. The front part of the case is protected by a sapphire crystal. The watch water-resistant is up to 300 meters.
Inside the novelty is built an automatic modified mechanism with height 4.60 mm and the carrying frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The power reserve of the caliber is 40 hours. The caliber is assembled on the 25 jewels. Functions - hours, minutes, seconds.
The case back is screwed into the case with 6 hexagonal screws for maximum protection. The rotating bi-directional bezel, equipped with a locking system with a lever on the right side is marked by hour layout, where the hour markers are made of ceramics in the form of small balls.
The "B and B" watch is delivered on a hand-sewn genuine calfskin brown strap fitted with a buckle in titanium or bronze. The strap is attached to the case with screws.
The novelty is released in a limited edition of 300 items. To buy the watch will be available through the official representatives of U-Boat.
