Wrist Watches of Pierre Michel Golay at WPHH 2012

Swiss watch company Pierre Michel Golay has presented in the current exhibition WPHH in 2012 its watches, equipped with manufacturing calibers. The company’s calibers are abounded with more than a dozen modifications.
The mechanism Calibre 1700 S6 PR is a mechanical movement with manual winding and two barrels. The diameter of the caliber is 31 mm, the thickness is 5 mm. In the caliber there are used the Breguet hairspring and balance wheel with screws. The mechanism provides the functions of display hours and minutes. The second hand is put to additional dial at 6 o’clock position. The power reserve indicator is located at 10.30 o’clock position. The crown has two positions of the adjustment: adjustment of time and winding of the mechanism. The caliber, consisting of 206 components and assembled on the 25 jewels, has a 192-hour power reserve and the balance frequency 18,000 vph. The caliber is decorated in the style of Cotes de Geneve.
The watch cases, designed on the base of the movement Calibre 1700 S6 PR, have diameters of 47 and 43 mm.
Another line of watches is based on the manufacturing movement Calibre 1720 QPRJLM PR with manual winding, two barrels and perpetual calendar. Dimensions of the caliber are 31 mm × 7 mm. In creation of the mechanism on the 47 jewels are used 441 components. The power reserve of the mechanism is 192 hours, carrying frequency - 18 000 vph. The mechanism provides the display functions of hours, minutes and seconds on the additional dial at 6 o'clock position, day at 9 o'clock, month at 3 o'clock, and retrograde date at 12 o'clock. Moon phase indicator is located at 6 o'clock, and at 10:30 position is an indicator of power reserve. The caliber is decorated with Cotes de Geneve pattern.
Calibre Calibre 3350 - 3351 RMT is complicated with the function of the minute repeater. The mechanism on the 32 jewels includes 386 components, 60-hour power reserve and the balance frequency of 18,000 vph. Dimensions of the caliber are 36 mm x 6.45 mm.
Calibre Calibre 1785 CC3 R on the 35 jewels consists of 395 components, has a diameter of 31 mm and 8 mm thick. A power reserve is of 100 hours, carrying frequency - 18 000 vph.
