The watch company Bulova has announced a watch Accutron Conqueror. The watch design follows the historical model of Lone Eagle, released by the brand in 1927. The timepiece was devoted to the Lone Eagle, Charles A. Lindbergh and his famous flight across the Atlantic.
The barrel-shaped case of the model in stainless steel is decorated with exquisite engravings on the sides. The white dial features Arabic numerals and central hour and minute hands, covered with fluorescent compound.
In the case is built in a Swiss automatic movement Dubois-Depraz 31 340. The mechanism provides an indexing time by the central hour and minute hands. The indicator of a small second hand is at the 3 o’clock position. The date aperture is set between 4 and 5 hours. The second time zone is fixed at the 24-hour scale, located on the periphery of the dial, with a special central hand. The chronological functions are displayed on a 30-minute indicator at 3 o'clock position, 12-hour indicator at 6 o'clock position and by means of the central second’s hand.
The mechanism of Dubois-Depraz 31 340 is officially certified by COSC as a chronometer. Accutron Conqueror comes on an alligator brown strap with stainless steel buckle. It is released in a limited edition of 200 items. Accutron Conqueror is available in 4900 dollars.
