Imperial dragons on the dial of new watches by Wei & Friends
Based in Prague, a Czech newly established watch company Wei & Friends has announced the issue of two new watch models 800.1 with a gray image on the dial and 800.2 with a brown image on the dial. Both novelties are released in limited quantity in 8 instances.
The watch cases are manufactured in Germany and watch movements are made in Switzerland. The final hand assembly and finishing of the watches is produced in the Czech Republic.
The round case is made of brushed stainless steel. The case has a diameter of 44.5 mm and 12 mm thick. The watch water-resistant is up to 100 meters. The bezel is fixed to the case by six screws. The crown is set at the position of 4 hour. The case on the top is protected with a sapphire crystal.
The dial, enclosed with white enamel, is ornamented with figures of imperial dragons, which are a symbol of the coming Year of the Dragon in the Chinese horoscope. The figures on the dials are handmade by artists Doris Oplova and Lalina Menslova. The central hour and minute hands, indexing time on the dial, are decorated with blued elements.
In the cases of models is built a mechanism W9811, which is an improved version of the ETA caliber 6498 Elabore, or W9815 - modified version of the ETA 6498 SOPROD with PVD-coated. The caliber may be chosen according to the customer.
The novelties are delivered on a black rubber strap with a butterfly clasp in stainless steel. The watches can be completed with a leather strap. The watches are available in 2800 euros.
