New Osmior Skeleton Tourbillon Regulator by L. Leroy
The watch house L. Leroy has introduced a new men's wristwatch Osmior Skeleton Tourbillon Regulator. The name of the watch comes from the alloy osmior, which is the combination of metal and gold. The choice of this ancient alloy is quite natural, because the company regularly uses it in making its cases for complicated watches.
The new watch Osmior Skeleton Tourbillon Regulator is the owner of the case in 18-karat rose gold. The case diameter is 41 mm and the thickness is equal to 10.50 mm. The case on top is equipped with an antiglare sapphire crystal. The case back is made of sapphire glass and decorated with an engraving. The case provides a 50-meter water resistance.
The mechanical self-winding movement, developed for L. Leroy by the subsidiary company MHVJ, is set into the watch case. The mechanism is cut and skeletonised by hand by Christophe Schaffo, and the process of assembling, sanding and finishing took place in the workshop of L. Leroy SAS.
The caliber, paved with 23 jewels, provides a 54-hour power reserve and a balance frequency of 28,800 vph. The skeletonised rotor and "flying" tourbillion are made of 22 carat gold. The tourbillon cage is cut and beveled by hand and decorated with the company double logo “L”. The movement is officially certified by Besancon National Observatory as a chronometer and is a sign of «La Tete de Vipere», which means "head of the snake."
The dial Osmior Skeleton Tourbillon Regulator in pink gold is made with a laser and beveled by hand. Time is indexed on the dial by means of the central hour, minute and second hands. The dial is modified with the tourbillon and regulator.
The novelty Osmior Skeleton Tourbillon Regulator comes on a hand sewn crocodile leather strap equipped with a buckle in 18 carat gold.
The novelty is issued in a limited quantity of 7 items.
