New versions of watches Pioneer Mk I, Mk II and TachyTele by Hanhart
The watch company Hanhart has announced a new version of the famous wristwatches Pioneer Mk I, Mk II and TachyTele with off-white dials.
Models Pioneer Mk I, Pioneer Mk II and TachyTele are designed on the base of the legendary chronographs by Hanhart, issued in 1930s. The company Hanhart is considered to be one of the pioneers in the manufacture of reliable, highly functional and precise chronograph. In 1938 the company created a single-button chronograph for naval officers on the base of the manufactory Calibre 40, a year later followed by a new gauge Calibre 41 with a column wheel and flyback function.
The new models will be presented by the company in 2012.
The model Pioneer Mk I is a replica of the first exact chronograph issued by the company in 1938. The novelty is based on a modified automatic bicompax mechanism HAN3601 with chronograph function, for which the caliber Valjoux 7753 became the base. The caliber on 27 stones has a 42-hour power reserve and the balance frequency of 28,800 vph. Massive crown is installed at the position of 3 hour; the chronograph buttons are located at the position of 2 and 4 hours. The chronograph functions are performed through small seconds hand on lateral display at the position of 9 o;clock and a 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock position.
The case of the novelty in diameter of 40 mm is made of stainless steel. The case height is 15 mm. The grooved bidirectional rotating bezel is marked by red markings. The front side of the case is equipped with a double-sided anti-glare sapphire crystal. The watch water-resistant is up to 10 ATM.
The central hands and hour indexes are coated with luminescent compound Super-LumiNova ®.A strap is made of calf leather and decorated with rivets.
Two other novelties of the company Pioneer Mk II and TachyTele are equipped with Pioneer Mk I technical features. But the model Pioneer Mk II is the two- button chronograph, and the model TachyTele has a dial, which marked in the center by the tachometer scale, and on the periphery –by the telemetric scale.
