New Participants of GTE

A unique collection of wrist watches, which will be provided at the Geneva Time Exhibition in 15-20 January, will be added by masterpieces of the four new members. All of them are active members of the Academy of Independent Watchmakers.

Legendary Antoine Preziuso will return to Geneva Time Exhibition and present a wrist watch Grand Tourbillon Sport. The uniqueness of this model is that the watch is made of new high-tech material ChromeCobalt.

His own improvements in the field of watchmaking art will show Svend Andersen - one of the founders of the Academy of Independent Watchmakers. Svend Andersen is known by its famous watch in a bottle Bottle Clock, created in 1969. The watch Bottle Clock resembles the bottles with models of sailing ships inside, but instead ship it has a chronometer. Just the master is in honor to create the watch 1884 with 24 time zones and produced with Alain Silberstein the model Hebraika with the Jewish calendar.

The watch master Mark Jenny will come to the Geneva Time Exhibition with models Prologue and JJJ. His wristwatch in gold case JJJ has quite an interesting dial. Closer to the center at the "11:00" there is a circular aperture with the planetary symbols of week days. From 7 to 9 hours is stretched the line with the numbers and week days window. The focus of attention is the triangle Wind, Date, Time on the right side of the dial, from which rays diverge. In the center of the triangle is a small hand pointing to the function, which currently manages the crown: the winding of the watch, nomination date or time. However, the unique timepiece JJJ does not even have a crown - its role is performed by rotating black bead at the mark 4 o’clock. It has an automatic 42-hour power reserve.

And the fourth master, joining the Geneva Time Exhibition, will be Jean Kazes. This is the creator of the extraordinary sculptural clock, which wittily nicknamed the "watch objects." I wonder what «object" will Jean create for a category wrist watch?
