 Goliardo Della Balda, who emigrated to Switzerland from San Marino in the 1920s, founded Delbana watch company in 1933. Before creating his own brand, Goliardo had worked at many watch companies. The brand's name originated from its founder's last name and the company's logo in the form of a tower tells about Goliardo's roots; the flag of San Marino pictures 3 towers, symbolizing independence, freedom and power.
The company's products' main market outlet was South America till the 50-s. Some time later, the brand swept the markets of Eastern Europe. Today you can buy a Delbana watch in many countries of the world and order it online.
At the start of the 3rd millennium Delbana and Delma Watch Ltd companies united. Nowadays the company's watches production and sales are controlled by Daniel Kessler, the representative of the 4th generation of the Delbana company's founding family, and Fred Leibundgut, the head of Delma Watch Ltd company.
The company produces men's and women's wrist watches of classic and sports styles.
The “Ancana” model's case is made of PVD-coated stainless steel, the dial is protected with a sapphire crystal, the watch's water resistance is 30 metres. The watch is equipped with a quartz movement.
The “Classic” model's case is made of stainless steel, the dial is covered with a sapphire crystal. There's a small aperture, covered with a transparent glass, at the “12” position, which allows you to enjoy the mechanical movement's operation. The model is executed in 2 variants: The first one comes with a natural leather strap, the second one – with a stainless steel bracelet.
The “Ibiza” model's case is made of PVD-coated steel, the dial is decorated with Swarovski crystals, the strap is made of natural leather, the watch is water resistant up to 30 metres.
The “Las Vegas” model's case is made of stainless steel, the dial is covered with a mineral crystal. The case and the bracelet are decorated with Swarovski crystals. The watch is equipped with a quartz movement. Its water resistance is 30 metres.
The brand has also produced chronograph watches – the “Toronto” and the “Silverstone” models with stainless steel cases, mineral crystals and 50-metre water resistance.
