 Rodania watch brand was founded in 1930 in Switzerland, in the city of Grenchen. In 17 years distribution centers in New York, Brussels, Caracas, London, Montreal were opened.
Manfred Aebi, who started to organize the Belgian office, soon turned it into a major center for sales. But in the 80's Japanese quartz movement at the reasonable price appeared on the market and they excluded Swiss watches, among them were also the watches of the Rodania brand. Aebi bought all the rights and had the opportunity to manage the business not only of Belgian branch of the company, but also the whole company. Rodania got new customers and quickly opened offices in Europe.
Today the company is managed by the children of Manfred Aebi. The company's motto is “the reasonable price for the high quality” and the company follows this motto from the day of its foundation.
All watches are manufactured on modern equipment using hand that allows to control the quality and level of assembly at any stage of production. The watches Rodania is water-resistant and shock-resistant. The watches shows the exact time in any weather conditions and even in the extreme situations because of unique technologies.
The brand produces both mechanical and quartz, men's and women's watches. All collections “Cazius”, “Mothus”, “Themis”, “Altro”, “Celso”, “Jadis”, “Nelson”, “Evolution”, “Maura”, “Adelis”, “Salina”, produced by the brand Rodania, have a great success among the fans of Swiss watches. They confirm the good taste of the owner.
The Rodania watches are equipped with the best Swiss movements: Ronda, ETA, Valjoux. For the manufacture of the materials the company uses stainless steel with black-coated, high-tech ceramics, sapphire crystal The straps are made of leather, ceramic, or metal. Rodania is very exacting in the materials but the company is very creative in the designs of the models. The main marketing concept of the brand is the laconic elegance which does not prevent to change the form and be  very brave in the creation of classical watches.
The brand range consists of 26 collections, three collections of which are automatic chronographs. There are models, in which ceramic elements are used. The brand's collections are separated into two broad groups:
“Mystery”;
“Swiss chic”.
“Mystery” is a stylish ceramic watch. Ceramics became a special material in the brand's lines. This material is used for the producing of men and women watches. The group of “Mystery” includes the “Deauville” watch with the case from stainless steel and ceramic, the thin and elegant watches “Nice”, “Monako” with a rectangular c38x48 mm case.
“Swiss chic” is a group which includes the watches, which are made from traditional materials: from black-coated steel and with leather straps. For example, the watches “Nelson” are with the round steel case and the leather strap, “Vance” is a chronograph with the rotating bezel, “Altro” is the watch with the rectangular body made of steel.
In 2010 the company Rodania celebrated its 80th anniversary. Were released collection of “Themis”, “Mothus” and “Cazius”, which are equipped with the movements ETA 2824 and Valjoux 7750. The models are decorated with the bright hands of red and blue colors.
Almost all the women models are decorated with diamonds or Swarovski crystals.
Nowadays Rodania is one of the most famous watch companies. In recent years the brand presents its masterpieces at the Basel exhibition. In addition, during these years the company opened its stores in 30 countries in the world where you can buy the Rodania watches.
