Paul Picot watch company was founded in 1976 by Mario Boiocchi. It's unbelievable, that such a young company has managed to find its niche among de luxe watch brands. At a later date the collection was replenished by the sports chronographs and diving watches. In the very beginning, Paul Picot watch brand asserted itself in the Italian watch market. In 1990, Paul Picot watch company took step forward by purchasing a shop in Le Noirmont, Jura region, in the heart of the Swiss watchmaking. In that year, the watch brand produced Technicum watch – the automatic chronograph with flyback function, date, day of week and power reserve indicator – that received the chronometer certificate,  and the Fishire watch with the barrel shaped case. In 1991, Chronograph watch by Paul Picot was awarded the title of "The Watch of the Year." In 1992, the watch company was headed by the talented watchmaker Paul Picot, who helped the brand to get its second wind.
