Mira Watches

Mira M105«Space passes through Time – Time passes through Space».
The gigantic red star has been discovered by the astronomer David Fabricius for the first time in 1596. In 1662, the star received the name Mira that from Latin means magnificent and startling.
In 1896, in Switzerland, the Mira watch company was born and started manufacturing complicated and intricate chronometers. Just the name of the above-mentioned star served as the name for the new created brand which made amazing watches. Soon the company's name became a synonym of excellent design and delicate work which was beyond time and space. The series of men's Mira watches with the automatic movement calibre Felsa Bidynator appeared at the end of the 40s of the last century and became the predecessor of all modern automatic watches. In 2010, the company caught its second wind by presented a series of mechanical wristwatches on the strict court of  admirers of amazing movements, which featured refinement, outstanding qualities and used materials.
The magnificence of our Universe is beyond any words. As an astronomer with his telescope, only one astronomic object – a planet sheaf can notice celestial bodies which are directly located to one another. Once in a lifetime a man can be a witness of the convergence of three or more astronomic bodies which is called an unusual word «syzygy» in the astronomy. Inspired by such rare and astonishing phenomenon, the Mira company's masters presented a new collection of men's watches called Merveille L’Espace which two classical models in two versions entered. For example, the M101SBK model had the steel case of a 42 mm diameter in which the automatic movement was installed. On the spiral-guilloched black dial the three small dials were situated, next to one another, which symbolized itself the «syzygy» phenomenon. The minute dial had a retrograde function. A lower part of the dial was in a form of the starry sky. The model had a sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating. The crown was decorated with cabochon brilliants. The dark blue strap was made of alligator leather and had a durableMira M101 folding buckle. The model was water-resistant to 50 metres. Another version had the white guilloched dial whose lower part was mother-of-pearl.
Another not less notable collection of men's wristwatches was the Odysee d’Univers line whose models were made of high-technology carbon fibres and equipped with a retrograde function, and also had dynamical and "courageous" design. For example, the M105SBU model had the stainless steel case of a 42 mm diameter polished to mirror shine. On the black dial made of carbon fibre there were three small dials: the hour one divided into day and night parts, the minute one performed in Côtes de Genève style and equipped with a retrograde function, and the second one. The model had a sapphire glass with an anti-reflective coating. The crown was decorated with cabochon brilliants. The dark blue strap was made of alligator leather and had a durable folding buckle. The model was water-resistant to 50 meters. Another version was presented with the steel bracelet and the grey-black dial.
Today the legendary Mira watch company does not stop amazing with its creations. Mira wristwatches will be appreciated by true admirers of unique chronometers. They are capable to satisfy tastes of even the most pretentious lover.
