Marc Brogsitter Watches

The German watch brand Marc Brogsitter was established by Marc Brogsitter who is a collector and a passionate lover of elegant but at the same time durable timepieces devoted to the watchmaking art. For a long time he had been fond of collecting wristwatches before he decided to run his own watch brand under the Marc Brogsitter name.

The brand's models of wristwatches with rectangular cases are personification of elegance and grace. German precision is in absolutely new movements which developed in the company's workshops and completely meet the highest technical standards. In watches the company uses considerable constructional components of movements that were used to measure data during competitions of the 50-60s of the 20th century. Not by accident these wristwatches can be compared to instruments that are used for Formula 1 and considered to be ones of the “king” class.

The setting down of the wheel construction rendered possible the use of an oversized balance (a 17,08 diameter), presenting an enormous mass-momentum of inertia of 266 mg/cm3 and permitting a precision adjusting. The large barrel provides a smooth and regular drive. In combination with the constant force, which is integrated in the escapement wheel, a constant and strong power will be achieved.

Marc Brogsitter watch movement - Cal. 793 T Tourbillon

Marc Brogsitter wristwatches are hand-made. Each part of a watch is thoroughly polished and treated. The luxurious Ref.2166 model has a rectangular case made of white or rose gold. Case dimensions are 52 õ 29 õ 11 mm. A guilloshed dial has applied gold points and gold time indexes and is covered with a sapphire crystal. A transparent back case is also made of sapphire glass. On the dial a second counter is located at 6 o'clock position. The model is based on the manual winding mechanical movement Cal.793 FC Force Constante. An overcoil balance-spring made by the Breguet company is used in the caliber. Dimensions of the caliber on 26 jewels are 34 õ 24,5 mm, its thickness is 7,16 mm. A diameter of the balance-wheel equals 17,08 mm. A vibration of the caliber is 18,000 per hour. Water-resistance is 30 metres. A strap is made of genuine leather.

The brand has also launched the Ref.2181 wristwatch complicated with a tourbillon. A tourbillon cage has a diameter of 18,25 mm and is located on the display of a small second hand. Dimensions of a rectangular case made of white or rose gold are 54 õ 32 õ 11 mm. A guilloshed dial of the Clou de Paris style gives the watch unique elegant appearance. The model has a manual winding mechanical movement. The caliber on 23 jewels has a 7,65 mm thickness and 36,7 õ 24,5 mm dimensions. Water-resistance is 30 metres. A strap is made of genuine leather. Marc Brogsitter watches are only available through official dealers of the brand.
