M.E.C. (Military European Company) is the watch brand registered in 1956, in Geneva by the Giorgio Giovagnoni company founded at the same year in Bologna, the north of Italy. M.E.C. is the first Italian watch company producing military timepieces that are created as a result of collaboration of the best masters with designers from not only Switzerland but the whole world. Using their skills and knowledge, they make exclusive models of watches being manufactured of high-quality materials with precise durable movements.
The Italian watches immediately set its place at the market of Europe. M.E.C. products are available in specialized stores in many countries. Later, the Giorgio Giovagnoni company started collaborating with the famous watch brand Fortis being one of the leading producers of military watches of space and aviation industry.

The AMX BLACK CATS model has a round 44 mm case made of stainless steel with a black coating protecting against scratching. A black dial has hour indexes in a form of Arabic numerals and lines coated with luminescent coating. A date aperture is located between 4 and 5 o'clock, a small window with a second hand is done at 9 o'clock position. The black case, the dial and the crown is perfectly combined with the black strap. The model has water-resistance to 50 metres and the automatic Swiss-made movement.
The CENTAURO CT-16 chronograph has a round 44 mm case made of stainless steel. A black dial covered with a sapphire crystal has hour indexes and hands coated with luminescent coating. A date aperture is located at 3 o'clock position, chronograph counters are done at 6, 9 and 12 o'clock position. A strap is made of genuine leather of brown colour. The model has water-resistance to 50 metres and the automatic Swiss-made movement ÅÒÀ Valjoux 7750.
CENTAURO CT-16 watch
The DEFENDER-B1 model has two time zones. A 44 mm case is made of stainless steel and equipped with two screwed-down crowns. A main dial of dark-blue colour covered with a mineral glass has two sub-dials: big one showing a local time with a date aperture at 3 o'clock position, a second hand and a 12 hour index of red colour perfectly matching the main dial, and small one demonstrating time of the second zone with hour indexes and two hands. Crowns are located at 3 and 9 o'clock positions. A strap is made of genuine leather of brown or black colour. The model has water-resistance to 50 metres, a compass and two movements.
